Wellhead API 6A Check Valve Swing Type 2 1/16" x 5000 psi WP

The oil well valves are used in wellhead system for flow controlling, the wellhead valves are manufactured to a high specification from forged steel bodies with stainless internals according to API 6A specification. The check valve is a kind of wellhead valve and they are available from 2000 psi through 20000 psi working pressure in size from 2 1/16” to 7 1/16” depending on pressure range.

Check valve is used to stop the return flow in the high pressure piping. A baffle plate or dart will automatically close when flow returns. The check Valve is a robust design which incorporates all of the desirable features proven to provide long life and trouble free operation. Check valve structure is divided into swing type and lifting type. There are different types of connection available such as flanged connection, hubs connection or unions connection.
